Sharing our recent work on the NovaScan MarginScan™ cancer screening system. NovaScan is developing technologies that improve the detection of cancer with applications spanning across initial detection, during procedures, and post-procedural pathology.

The team at NovaScan retained Design Integrity in Chicago to collaborate on exploratory development work on the MarginScan™ device. Early stage prototypes of key subsystems were prototyped and tested, and the work culminated with the design and fabrication of two prototypes at Design Integrity that allowed NovaScan to run multiple successful preclinical trials with prototype MarginScan™ devices.

This past month, Design Integrity celebrated our 25th anniversary in business. The talented team at Inventables led the program, and they brought our team on board to assist with the engineering design and development effort from concept through successful production launch.
