Everyone in construction knows that traffic control stops make the public frustrated. As much as we would like to get traffic moving as soon as possible its not always as easy as it sounds. You can tell when people are frustrated and more often than not we hear about it. There are rare occasions when you hear from the public that you are doing a good job. We have had a busy year this year. We have substantially completed:

1. Gridley High School newest building with Slater and Sons. We installed a new water main, fire water, storm drain, and a gas main on the project.

2. An apartment complex called Senator Conness in Chico for Pacific West Builders. It is roughly 155 units. The project was extremely difficult because we were asked to take the underground portion of the work over from another contractor. What made this project more difficult is that it is on the Lava cap. Trenching had already been done but adaptations were needed often because of differences in installation practices. We installed Sewer, domestic Cal Water, fire water, storm drain, primary and secondary electric conduit, AT&T conduit, and Comcast conduit.

3. An apartment complex in the Town of Paradise called Eagle Pointe. It was for Pacific West Builders. It is roughly a 70 unit complex. It is located next to the High School. Being a terraced site it made accessibility difficult and slowed progress as a result. We installed a 35,000 gallon tank, 4 AX100 Orenco treatment tank septic system, sewer, storm drain, PID domestic water, and fire water.

4. A roughly 56 unit apartment complex in Orland for Pacific West Builders. We came back to this site to finish up the PGE gas, primary and secondary electric conduit, AT&T conduit, and Comcast conduit after installing the sewer, storm drain, domestic water, and fire water earlier this year.

5. A Maverick Gas station in Orland for Hilbers Construction. We installed the sewer, storm drain, including a massive detention basin, domestic water, primary and secondary electric, AT&T conduit, comcast, and PG&E Gas.

Active Projects:

1. This week we started 1 of 2 project we bid and recieved from the City of Orland and the Department of Water Resources. Between the two projects we are installing roughly 40,000 lineal feet of domestic water pipe in various sizes including 6", 8" and 10". 155 water services, and 40 fire hydrants.

We are happy to be working with Hilber Inc. on a Maverick Truck stop in Orland. We are currently installing a storm drain detention leach field. This system is roughly 300' x 100' and will be backfill with 1300 tons of crushed rock.
