arting in 1985, Hugh Keen (Owner) incorporated Hugh’s Concrete and began working small-contract jobs around the Southeastern United States. Before graduating from Chiefland High School in 1981, Hugh accumulated awards in masonry competitions, eventually placing 1st in Florida and 7th Nationally in the Vocational Industrial Club of America (VICA) Olympics. Commencing with it’s team of only two employees, the company has exponentially grown & evolved over the last four decades, proudly serving the greater Central Florida area. The company’s roots and values have upheld over the years, evolving and striving for results that make customers, and company, proud.
