After three years of conceptualization, planning, and construction, Chillicothe Metal Company is pleased to announce the opening of our new paint and crating facility. The facility will allow greatly increased production capacity, improved quality, and expanded product offerings while increasing efficiency and safety.
The building contains two 30’ wide x 70’ long x 30’ high paint booths and a 100’ wide x 85’ long x 38’ high crating facility. The facility footprint is 15,500 square feet and its volume is 620,000 cubic feet.
The environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art paint booths feature modified downdraft ventilation with recirculation to minimize overspray and promote energy efficiency. Each booth has 77 LED lights to ensure even and thorough lighting. The booths also features independent heating and air conditioning allowing our skilled painters to maintain optimum conditions. Access at both ends is provided by four 30’ wide x 30’ high hydraulically actuated doors that will accommodate the largest of packages. A five-ton overhead hoist in the crating area allows the safe handling of finished products and equipment.
With the investment in this new facility and our highly skilled workforce, CMCO has once again solidified its position as a worldwide leader in generator set packaging.
