The countdown is on! ⛳️

We're just days away from the Farmers' Electric Annual Golf Tournament on June 19. Every participant helps make a difference through the Area Youth Benefit Fund (AYBF).

All proceeds from the tournament go directly toward helping pay children's medical bills right here in our local communities. Thank you to everyone who plays, sponsors and supports this event each year.

See you on the course!

June is Right-of-Way Month! 🌳⚡But what is right-of-way clearing? 🤔

Right-of-way clearing is the process of managing trees, brush, and other vegetation around power lines and utility corridors. Keeping these areas clear helps prevent outages, improves reliability, allows crews safe access for maintenance and repairs, and reduces safety hazards.

This work plays an important role in delivering the safe, dependable electric service our communities rely on every day.

During Right-of-Way Month, we recognize and thank the professionals who help maintain these corridors and keep the power flowing.

We're proud to recognize Farmers' Electric Cooperative's Chief Financial Officer Lacey as she celebrates 15 years of dedicated service to the Cooperative this year and her continuation of investing in professional development opportunities that help better serve our members.

Over the past few years, Lacey has earned her NRECA Cooperative Financial Professional Certification, completed the NRECA Management Internship Program, and most recently graduated from NWPPA's Future Utility Executive Leadership (FUEL) program.

These programs are designed to strengthen strategic thinking, decision-making, and executive leadership skills within the electric cooperative industry. Through these experiences, participants gain valuable insight into cooperative operations, long-term planning, and the evolving challenges and opportunities facing today's energy sector.

Lacey's commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth reflects her dedication to our members, our employees, and the future of Farmers' Electric Cooperative.
