We got the whole team in one room yesterday for our monthly company meeting — all six of our department heads shared where we've been, where we are, and where we're going, and we handed out shoutouts to teammates who went above and beyond this quarter.

One shoutout we want to make sure gets its due: John Overholt just hit 10 years with us. Ten years of showing up, doing the work right, and leading by example. Thank you, John — we're lucky to have you.

We've also welcomed 7 new team members in the last month alone. It's been our busiest summer yet, and that kind of growth doesn't happen without people like the ones in this room.

Every order we take goes through the same 5-step process — Quote, Order, Production, and Delivery. New customers get a Consultation first, but after that we already know what you need and we get straight to work.

NHC Components has added a second floor truss line.

Floor truss demand has been outpacing what our single line could keep up with, so we accelerated our install timeline by three weeks to stay ahead of our customers' schedules. The new line shipped in from Pennsylvania and was delivered and installed within one week.

The new roller also brings assisted flip and eject capabilities, which will continue to improve throughput and reduce manual handling on the line.

A big thank you to Linford Zimmerman with Orlan Truss Hauling for getting the new line to us on a tight turnaround. Credit also to our maintenance and logistics teams for executing the install on a compressed schedule, and to our production team for ramping up output to meet demand.

Another load of floor trusses rolling out the door this morning! 🚚

Over the past year, our team has put in serious work growing our floor truss production capacity and sales — it's paying off. We've seen floor truss sales grow 50% compared to the same time last year. That kind of growth doesn't happen without a dedicated team, and we're proud of what they've built (pun intended).

Floor trusses have long been a go-to in commercial construction — they offer superior deflection resistance and leave plenty of room to conceal mechanicals like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. But we're seeing more and more residential builders and homeowners discover those same advantages for their homes. Cleaner ceilings, stronger floors, and hidden mechanicals? It's a win all around.

We broke ground on our newest building project earlier this year—and after some weather delays, we’re officially rolling.

Trusses are being set this week.

This 12,000 sq. ft. addition will give us much-needed space to expand our floor truss production and create a dedicated area for maintaining our forklifts, trucks, and equipment.

We’re aiming to have it fully in use by September.

Excited to see it come together.
