Transtech was honored to celebrate this important educational landmark in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley. We’re especially proud that our very own CEO Melissa Demirci serves on the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

🎷🤍 We look forward for to this event every year! The Transtech Team had a fantastic evening at the City of Carson’s (City of Carson, CA) Cajun & Blues White Linen Affair! From great music to great company, it was a wonderful celebration of the community and vibrant spirit that make Carson so special. 🌟

💕 Earlier this summer, we joined the Commerce Business Council’s Women in Business Luncheon, one of our favorite events to be part of!

Our decades-long partnership with the City of Commerce (City of Commerce) and the Commerce Business Council (CommerceBusinessCouncil) means so much to us, and we love coming together to celebrate the women making a difference in our communities.

👏 Congratulations to this year’s Woman of the Year, Nedy Warren of Commerce Casino & Hotel! With keynote speaker Judy Carter (Judy Carter) keeping us laughing and the talented women of ABBA LA (ABBA L.A.) bringing the music, it was such a fun afternoon. Having Rafaela Diaz, one of our Executive Directors at Transtech, share the stage made it even more special. 🎀🌷

🏛️ In August, the Transtech team was proud to attend the 2026 Joint ASCE/APWA California Legislative Day in Sacramento, hosted by ASCE Region 9 (ASCE Region 9) and APWA Northern California (APWA NorCal).

Public works professionals gathered at the State Capitol to connect with legislators and discuss the infrastructure needs of communities across California.

We’re grateful to be part of these important conversations and to work alongside leaders committed to strengthening our communities! 💙

Check out our CEO, Melissa Demirci, catching up with our colleague Shane Silsby! Our team loved spending time with so many people who care deeply about their communities. It’s always a reminder of why our Transtech team loves the work we do alongside cities across California.

Transtech has been proud to partner with Cal Cities for over 20 years. They do so much to bring city leaders together and make sure California’s cities have a voice in Sacramento, and we’re grateful to be part of it!
