A strong thunderstorm moving northeast at 35 mph may bring wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SUNDAY AND MONDAY BRING BACK TO BACK THREATS

Church Hill Roofing will be available for emergency repair services and tarps. Please don’t attempt to tarp a roof yourself if you are not experienced. We will work with your insurance company to get a tarp paid for. If you do not have insurance we will work with you and your budget to protect your home/property. Stay safe.

-At the same time a major winter storm is hitting the Midwest, a large area of severe thunderstorms will hit the Midwest and The South. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out, and a TORCON of 4 covers an area from Indiana to Louisiana. A strengthening low pressure will shoot through the Great Lakes and a trailing(and potent) cold front will trigger a long line of storms. Tornadoes could be imbedded within that line. Straight-line winds may also gust in excess of 70mph. Power outages may be seen across numerous states. Along with blown off shingles, downed trees, etc.

-The severe thunderstorm risk lasts into Monday and stretches from Pennsylvania to Florida. The strongest storms will target the Mid-Atlantic.

-A serious cold snap moves in behind the front. High temperatures could be as much as 30° below average Monday. This, after record-setting warmth this week. 😬🥶🙄
