This primary custom master bathroom was completely torn out and rebuilt. The finish blends a smart budget of careful luxury with select upgrades installed with Remodeling Professional craftsmanship using trade grade specs.
The large format rectified porcelain floor tile is set over Schluter DITRA HEAT for even programmable warmth (thermostat shown) with movement joints placed per TCNA EJ171 and clean 1/16 inch grout joints that keep the veining continuous.
The curbless look walk in shower is built on a Schluter KERDI bonded waterproof assembly with Schluter shower systems, walls, and both recessed niches, ensuring moisture never reaches the substrate. A centered point drain with a metal grate sits in a properly pitched mosaic floor for fast drainage.
The tiled walls are wrapped in the contemporary look of marble using porcelain tiles in a tight subway pattern. The niche boxes are detailed with elongated hex mosaics and polished quartz sills.
Half height knee walls are capped in matching quartz and support a frameless glass panel and door layout for an airy feel.
Fixtures are finished in warm brushed brass, including a square rain head that allows water to become pressure balanced using a mixing valve, along with a magnetic hand shower.
Across the room, a freestanding deep soak tub with a floor mounted filler anchors the spa like zone beneath the natural light of the bathroom window.
The double vanity features furniture grade wood, soft close hardware, quartz tops with under mount bowls, and dimmable back lit LED mirrors.
