Legacy Fall Sports Notes:
1. When importing legacy soccer packed file that was created in NLS, there can be a "re-calculating" error when trying to open the game in Ingame scoring. This is caused by NLS file long goal description, which does not fit the formatting for legacy. To resolve, you can edit the .SPL file (with Notepad) to shorten the goal description. Or send us the file and we'll assist.
2. Packed soccer files created in NLS and imported into legacy, will show the yellow cards correctly in the legacy game box, but may show the yellow as red card in your legacy season reports. To resolve, Load and Save in legacy Ingame scoring. This rebuilds the stats and corrects the issue.
3. Some volleyball packed files created in NLS have to be loaded in ingame scoring, and then saved, to correct some issues in the NLS packed file. We are not sure what plays cause this in NLS, but Load | Save seems to resolve the issues we have encountered so far.
4. The legacy Field Hockey Shootout issue persists, so that the 7th period Shootout does not format properly in legacy. To correct this, send us the XML file for assistance, or load the XML in NextGen and add the 7th period shootout. NextGen is handling the 7th period shootout input and stats properly, for game and season reports.
