Illustrious (pronounced /eah’lluh''stree'uhs/) Cleaning Solutions is still recruiting individuals who are: dedicated, attentive to detail, desiring to learn and develop in the cleaning industry, and seeking flexible, fair, and rewarding employment! As a growing business, we need crew members for a variety of shifts, and are seeking to build a call list of individuals we can reach out to with work.

There are currently shifts available every day of the week between 7 am - 4 pm, with pay starting at $390 - $520 / week. There is also opportunity for overtime pay at time and a half, and holiday pay at double time. We work strategically and efficiently to make the best and most use of all of our crew members time, and resources!

We have several positions growing the business:
• Apprentice – receives hands on training and support to perform duties, can make own schedule, has a range of opportunities for growth, and is developing leadership to invest in the business and help shape its revenue. Pay starts out at $390 - $520 per week working a minimum of 30 hours, up to 40 hours, with the opportunity for overtime pay at time and a half, and holiday pay at double time. After 2 years, pay can increase to $650 - $866 per week. Will work a total of 2,000 hours and participate in 144 hours of related instruction to complete apprenticeship within 2 years.
• Crew Leader – completed apprenticeship and works with apprentices, but also ensures crews have everything they need to get the job done right, and keeps reports of jobs (to include managing and tracking inventory, preparing for workday, areas of attention for customer). Pay starts out at $540 - $720, with increases every 6 months. Crew Leaders also have the opportunity for overtime and holiday pay.
• Project Manager – provides education and quality assurance for crews. Develops work schedule and checklists, conducts quality assurance, and completes reports. Pay starts out at $630, with increases every 6 months. Project Managers do not work set hours, but are typically on job sites at beginning and end of shift.

Illustrious Cleaning Solutions is looking for individuals who are: dedicated, attentive to detail, desiring to learn, and seeking rewarding employment. Candidates will have great opportunities to advance with a growing company that is on a mission to improve the socio-economic health of the community.

The company will provide all materials, equipment, supplies, and training. Interested candidates will need the following:
- a completed application
- valid photo ID and social security card
- reliable transportation
- a mobile or electronic device with wifi access
- a working phone and access to email
- a Hamilton County Sheriff's background check (reimbursable on your first paycheck)

Positions will be direct hire employment, subject to all of the local, state, and federal hiring and wage requirements, including taxes, equal opportunity, and non-discrimination. Pay will start out at $15 - $20/hour based on work experience, will be bi-weekly, and will be made by direct deposit or a paycard that you can sign up for.

A grateful shout out goes to Green Umbrella, the City of Cincinnati, Home energy Services Group, and Quality Training Precision Inspections for providing us with the opportunity to learn the science of building performance and energy efficiency. Our trainers Dave & Bryan were patient and supportive through it all, and we made some really great connections with our wonderful classmates.

At the graduation, Eric gave his first public speech in front of an audience and did really well! He has a natural personable presence that is going to take him very far in his entrepreneurial endeavors…

Special thanks to Councilman Mark Jeffreys for a moving reminder of the importance of service in this field of work, and our classmate Kathy for exemplifying so well the knowledge learned and shared.

Today was another opportunity to make some wonderful connections with leaders in the industry: HandiFoam, Home Energy Services, Knauf Insulation, Intec, Donovan Energy, Retrotec, and The Energy Conservatory (TEC); and learn about some of the resources available through The Port and Service partners.
