Construction Inclusion Week may last just a week, but our commitment to giving back extends all year long. Our Community & Citizenship Team shows up for Cincinnati all year long.

Ziegler Park Summer Camp was one of the many events we participated in within the community this year. Turner had the privilege of sponsoring and attending the Ziegler Park Summer Camp. Attending, hosting workshops and connecting with these kids, was such a special experience. We always love connecting with the community and being a part of something bigger.

Beyond the Hardhat Spotlight: Casey Lawrence!

Current Role: Project Superintendent

Q- In 3 words, how would you describe working at Turner?

A- Exciting, Enlightening, Fulfilling

Q- How has your career grown since working at Turner?

A- I started my career with Turner so it honestly has grown from nothing to something. I have learned so much and met so many great people in just four years. Realizing how many projects I have been able to be part of and how my knowledge base has grown in this short time makes me very excited for the career ahead of me.

Q- What is the best advice you can give someone who is just starting at Turner?

A- Be a sponge, talk to anyone and everyone you can. Whether it is Turner employees or contractors I have found most everyone is kind and willing to give advice or explain how they do things. Learn as much as you can about the nuances of every installation and where the trades overlap. Making it easy for everyone to work together is what makes us valuable.

Q- There are now 25 hours in a day! How do you spend your extra hour?

A- Trying to get good at something musical, probably piano.

With 24 years of construction industry experience, Jason brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and expertise to every team and project he supports. Throughout his career, he has led teams across a variety of market segments and currently serves as a Superintendent on the Good Samaritan Hospital project.

Hyde Park Community Methodist Church

Turner completed a major expansion and modernization project for Hyde Park Community Methodist Church (which is now Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church) in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1965. The project known as “Tradition & Tomorrow”, was designed to support the churchs growing congregation while still preserving the original character. The expansion added new education facilities, meeting spaces, offices, and support areas, which helped the church meet the needs of its new expanding community. Built around the church’s existing 1927 sanctuary, the addition nearly doubled the campus’s usable space, blending traditional architecture with modern functionality. Today, the church remains a prominent Cincinnati landmark.
