Google doesn't hand out compliments. This is Google's own dashboard, flagging HD Paver Sealing's homepage on its own: impressions up 1,311%.

We didn't screenshot a chart and add commentary. Google generated this card by itself and told HD's site it was doing something right.

That's what happens when a site is built for what people actually search, not just what looks nice.

The box on the right of the page says it: talk to a local, not a call center. Call or text for a free estimate. The number is right there, no hunting.

A guy with water running down his siding doesn't want to fill out a form. He wants to text a photo. The site lets him.

If you're a small crew and your jobs come from referrals, your site should sound like the person who answers the phone.

Not every site I build is for a truck.

Changes Counseling needed a site that feels calm, answers the questions people are nervous to ask, and makes reaching out easy. That's a different job than a contractor site, and it got a different build.

The main button says "Ask Angela to call you back." Nobody has to dial a stranger cold.

Whatever your business is, the site's job is the same. Make the next step obvious.

That's what a homeowner with a dead furnace wants to know before they dial. The site answers it up front.

If your best selling point is something your competitors can't say, put it where people see it first.

True Finish does the cleanup nobody wants after a build. Post-construction, move-outs, deep cleans, Greater Cincinnati.

The site leads with real work from a real job, not stock photos. Call and Free Quote buttons stay at the bottom of the phone screen the whole way down.

HD Paver Sealing. Last 28 days: 90 clicks, up 67%. 8,550 impressions, up 100%.

And earlier this summer Google's own dashboard flagged their homepage on its own. Impressions up 1,311%. I didn't build that card and I didn't pull that number, Google generated it and handed it over.

That's the whole trick. It is not complicated and it is not expensive. It's just nobody did it for them for years.
