At Motz, strategic planning is our superpower. For the last ten years, the firm has functioned under one purpose: providing the highest quality engineering and commissioning for great clients who deeply care about their building systems. We update our Business Strategy every 18 months, making adjustments to meet changes in the market.

This year, we took a historic step and created a Commissioning-specific Strategic Plan. The plan focuses on service to our clients through great people, teamwork, and agility. It addresses our team's "why" in providing generational impact to their families. The plan is focused—identifying multiple horizons—to ensure Motz is providing services for another 50 years.

Last week, we took time for fellowship and planning and released our Commissioning Strategic Plan to our team. We are excited about the positive momentum of Motz Engineering's Commissioning Services.

Some of the best conversations happen outside the office.

Last week, team members from across the country came together in Cincinnati for an evening at the Reds game. It was a chance to catch up, share stories, welcome new faces, and enjoy time together beyond project meetings and video calls.

Strong teams aren't built only through the work we do. They're built through the relationships we invest in along the way.

We're grateful for the opportunity to spend time together and are looking forward to what's ahead.

Happy Father’s Day from Motz Engineering.

Today, we’re celebrating the fathers, grandfathers, husbands, mentors, and father figures who have shaped our lives, our families, and even our careers.

For many on our team, the values we bring to our work, dedication, perseverance, pride in a job well done, and care for the people around us, were first modeled by the dads and role models in our lives.

One of our team members shared that her father’s 36-year career in construction helped shape her own appreciation for the industry and the professionals who build with skill and purpose every day. His hard work and example continue to influence the way she shows up in her own career.

Stories like that remind us that engineering and construction are about more than projects. They’re about people, legacy, and the values passed from one generation to the next.

To all the dads and father figures in the Motz family, and to those who have inspired us along the way, Happy Father’s Day.
