HVAC Sheet Metal BIM Coordinator

Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc is a Mechanical Contractor in need of a Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal BIM Coordinator with knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. This position is required to work onsite in Cincinnati, OH.

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible to work within AutoCAD and REVIT performing routine assignments. The BIM Coordinator will work with detailed renderings and will assist in file clean-up, tagging, dimensioning and annotating drawings for the Drafters to be submitted to General Contractors, Sub-Contractors and Field Technicians for installation.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience:
• AutoCAD
• Revit
• Navisworks – Experience running / clashing MEP coordination meetings
• Ability to compile and annotate drawings from the BIM model for field installation.
Work Schedule and Benefits:
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Work hours 7:00am 4:00pm
• Wages are competitive and based on experience and certifications

Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Maintaining Commercial HVAC systems (various brands) and address any issues that could affect quality by performing the following:

Customer Service Calls and Interactions - you will be responsible for:

Removing old systems
Installing new commercial systems
Performing warranty services
Emergency repairs and identifying maintenance risks
Communicating with clients regarding work performed or required
Ordering and maintaining equipment and parts
Problem Solving - you will be responsible for:

Troubleshooting technical, electrical and mechanical issues within commercial HVAC systems

Providing suggestions and cost-effective solutions to clients for sign-off

Diagnose and record maintenance logs and actions performed during the service calls

Qualifications and Requirements:

The HVAC Maintenance Technician must be able to read, write and communicate in English

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record

Must be able to pass a pre-employment and randomized drug screen

3+ years of prior experience in Commercial HVAC systems preferred

Must be able to understand and service Commercial HVAC systems

Must have a general knowledge of electrical, hand tools, computer skills, basic math and customer service

Must have EPA Certification; welding or brazing experience preferred but not required

Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc is a Mechanical Contractor in need of Commercial HVAC Sheetmetal Duct Installers in Columbus, OH and surrounding areas. We are looking to hire Apprentice through Journeyman level team members with 2 - 5+ years of experience.

Under the supervision of a Field Foreman, the Commercial HVAC Sheetmetal Installer is responsible for the prepping for, and installation of pre-fabricated commercial HVAC ductwork.

Qualifications:

Ability to lay out, prep jobsite and install pre-fabricated ductwork
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings to determine location of HVAC ductwork placement
Assemble HVAC ductwork pieces for installation at the jobsite as necessary
Place hangers and supports for HVAC ductwork
Rigging and setting large Commercial HVACE equipment
Work Schedule and Benefits:

Full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours/week (overtime may be required during heavy season)
Start times vary by location. Typical work days start at either 6:00am, 6:30am or 7:00am and ends at 2:30pm, 3:00pm or 3:30pm respectively

Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc is a Mechanical Contractor in need of a Commercial BIM Drafter with knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit in order to draw Commercial Plumbing and Mechanical Piping.

Knowledge of Ohio city and local Commercial Plumbing codes. Knowledge of Kentucky and Indiana codes helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities will include coordinating Commercial Plumbing new construction or renovations of commercial buildings in 2D and 3D renderings, attending meetings with Project Managers, General Contractors and other sub-contractors involved in the commercial build and maintain project deadlines.

Must have a general knowledge of:

Below grade sanitary and storm
Above grade waste, vent and storm
Domestic water
Gas Piping
Mechanical Piping
Qualifications:

Commercial Plumbing Draftsman & Trimble Operator
Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc is a Mechanical Contractor located in both Cincinnati and Columbus, OH specializing in Commercial Plumbing, Mechanical Piping and Sheetmetal. We are currently looking to add to our team of Commercial Plumbing Draftsman in the Cincinnati area.
The Commercial Plumbing Draftsman will have a hybrid position requiring the knowledge of not only drawing Commercial Plumbing and Mechanical Piping blueprints, but also utilizing the use of the Trimble RTS-873 system in the field to layout and produce points for underground work and hangers on commercial jobsites.
Commercial Plumbing Draftsman Duties and Responsibilities (50% to 75%)
The Commercial Plumbing Draftsman must have knowledge of, and ability to draw within both the REVIT, Navisworks and AutoCAD systems. They must be able to:
Review building plan and spec documents and coordinate with the General Contractor and other Sub-Contractors within the scope of the build to determine the appropriate layout, points and drawings for all Plumbing and Mechanical Piping throughout the project. Must be able to run a coordination meeting, run clashes to ensure there are no issues within other sub-contractor’s drawings.
Trimble RTS-873 Operator (25% to 50%)
The Trimble Operator will be responsible for learning the Trimble RTS-873 equipment and software systems. This position will be the “Point-Person” for running the equipment at jobsites for precision layout to visually mark points for any needed operations (hanger, underground, etc.,) for Plumbing, Mechanical Piping and/or Sheetmetal layouts.
Requirements
The Plumbing Draftsman and Trimble Operator must have the following skills and knowledge base:
• 2+ Years in REVIT, Navisworks and AutoCAD software systems
• 2+ years in Commercial Plumbing experience and/or knowledge of Ohio State and local plumbing codes. Knowledge of KY Plumbing preferred, but not required.
• Ability to handle BIM Coordination with GC’s and other Sub-Contractors
• Knowledge of, and ability to use the Trimble RTS-873 equipment and software
• Ability to travel to, set up and run equipment on a commercial construction jobsite
Work Schedule and Benefits:
• Full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours/week (overtime may be required during heavy season)
• Works hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm
• Wages are competitive and based on experience and certifications
