HydraTech Engineered Products & Services HydraTech Engineered Products specializes in coatings and sealing systems for trenchless pipeline repair, waterline/vessel repair and reservoir waterproofing.

HydraTech Engineered Products specializes in world-class coatings and sealing systems for trenchless pipeline repair, waterline/vessel repair and reservoir waterproofing. HydraTech’s unique product line, supported by the company’s quality technical and manufacturing services have made the company’s products a popular choice for many industries worldwide. All HydraTech products are manufactured in

the USA and have been designed, engineered and tested to provide highly reliable performance. All are appropriately certified and adhere to applicable standards and regulations and are manufactured and backed by the company’s skilled technical specialists (see individual products for details). HydraWrap® (ideal for marine and industrial pipeline repair) - provides a corrosion barrier for degrading piping (thin wall & through wall). Installed with common tools in less than 30 minutes, HydraWrap prevents unplanned shutdowns. SubSea HydraWrap can now be used underwater! HydraTite® (ideal for pipeline and storm drain repair) - is an internal sealing system that offers customized mechanical remediation without excavation. Featuring rapid installation and return-to-service, HydraTite has been proven ideal for emergency repairs. HydraLine (ideal for industrial pipeline repair) - is a range of epoxy based coatings with high chemical/corrosion resistance. WaterLine (ideal for potable water pipeline repair) - epoxy is a solvent-free epoxy lining that can be applied remotely in small diameter pipe within potable water vessels. Fully approved for use in contact with potable water, this epoxy allows remediation of pipe down to 4-inch diameter with minimal out-of-service time.

A pipe’s lifespan is often influenced the moment it goes into the ground.

What looks like a secure new installation can already be carrying hidden stress from soil load, imperfect bedding, construction traffic, and minor installation issues. Over time, those early vulnerabilities combine with corrosion, shifting soil, and inflow and infiltration to create a cycle of deterioration that can eventually lead to serious failures.

In our latest newsletter article, we look at the lifecycle of buried pipe infrastructure and why proactive inspection and targeted rehabilitation can make all the difference.

Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners are a common rehabilitation method, but without proper termination, water can backtrack beneath the liner and compromise the repair.

In this project recap, HydraTech Project Engineer Will Blais explains how HydraTite was used as an end seal to terminate a liner and stop infiltration at a critical point.

This case highlights the importance of properly sealing liner terminations to prevent backtracking and maintain long-term system performance.

Pipe transitions, where different materials meet, are a common source of infiltration. Differences in movement, stiffness, and connection methods can make these joints more susceptible to leaks over time.

In this case study, HydraTite was used to seal a critical pipe transition and stop active infiltration, without excavation or disrupting the surrounding infrastructure.

This project highlights how internal pipe joint sealing can address challenging transition points and restore system performance.

New pipe installations are designed to perform, but real-world construction conditions don’t always go perfectly.

Even structurally sound, brand-new pipes can experience leaks due to issues like rolled gaskets, improper compaction, early loading from heavy equipment, or slight joint misalignment. These problems can compromise joints before a system is even fully completed.

In this video, we highlight common causes of joint issues in new pipe installations and how they can impact long-term performance.

Internal pipe joint sealing solutions like HydraTite and HydraLock are used to address these situations, helping restore joint integrity without excavation or disrupting construction progress.

How a Small Pipe Leak Becomes a Big Problem (Infiltration Explained). Infiltration in underground pipes often starts small—but the impact adds up quickly.

Even minor leaks allow groundwater to enter the system, increasing the volume that must be processed at treatment facilities and putting additional strain on infrastructure. Over time, infiltration can also lead to joint movement, soil loss, and structural issues.

In this video, we break down how infiltration develops, why it matters, and how early intervention can prevent larger, more costly problems.

Learn how internal pipe joint sealing solutions like HydraTite help stop infiltration at the source—without excavation or system shutdown.
