Kemp Sigmon Construction Co., Inc. is looking for motivated employees to work on heavy civil projects. We are looking for employees who can operate heavy equipment, primarily excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, and skid steers. Employees will be tasked with daily maintenance of equipment, maintaining a safe work environment, and helping with progressing the job. Although this job is for an equipment operator, all employees serve multiple responsibilities, including laborer roles. Pay rate is based off of experience.
Must be able to commute to job site or equipment yard daily.
*Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and 25-50 pounds of force frequently and 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Required to lift, carry, push and pull in standing, walking, sitting positions. Operators are required to wear PPE to complete each task safely.
**Agility, coordination, and alertness are necessary for work is in vicinity of heavy equipment and traffic. Ability to access the machines while utilizing all mirrors, windows, controls and gauges to properly and safety operated the machines. Ability to follow instructions and adjust to flexible work schedule.
