G.W. Witherspoon Construction is looking to hire a skilled carpenter. Pay will be based on experience but will start at a minimum of $18 hr plus paid holiday vacation days. We work a 40 hr work week unless weather prohibits. We specialize in new construction and remodeling. Job task will be building decks, trim work, siding/soffits, small roof repairs, demo for remodeling projects and other construction activities. Check out our website at www.gwwitherspoonconstruction.com to see some of our past projects. You can also find us on Facebook. We work from 7:30 to 4:30 with a 1 hour lunch. Applicant will need to be able to climb ladders and get on roofs safely. Applicant will be using power tools and lifting to get the job done. Applicant is required to have a valid drivers license. Applicant must be able to find and get to a job when given an address. We work only in Catawba and surrounding counties. We have been in business since 1987 in the Catawba Valley.
