That was just not how we wanted our US OPEN to go.
My team....my family....my crew...my engine builder tried everything we could to get that car to run today with absolutely no luck. Bottom line was we couldn't get any fuel pressure and I have no clue why....it sure wasn't from a lack of effort
We threw everything at it and rolled the dice and the car just wouldn't go. Started p2 and after 1 lap I pulled over and let the field go by and we were done. Finishing last at the us open sux but all in all I'm very proud of what our family team accomplished this season and with that being said it's a wrap. The season was hard on that car..this team and my wallet lol and it's time to take it down to bare bones and fix it correctly for the next time we race.... When and where that is we don't know yet.. some things happened this season that was just not sitting well with us and hopefully some changes are made and it gets better for the division that I love so much..
I'm truly grateful for my family, crew, and all my chowder party supporters for all the support over the years. We'll see you when the car is ready at a local track sometime in 2025!!

Race recap..after 2 weeks of trying to get the car back to a race ready condition after hitting the wall we made it to the track hoping to adjust on it all day and have a good car for the feature.....but ...mother nature had other ideas. 2 laps of practice and a short heat race on a very wet surface gave us absolutely no data to make the car better for the feature especially after a bad right rear tire that has only 10 laps on it had to come off the car and be replaced by a tire with a lot of runs on it ... A completely blind adjustment for the feature where we started 8th was what we went with... A shortened race left us battling for 5th with some of the fastest street stocks ever to play the game at the end and honestly I'll take A 5th place finish with a smile after all that.

All said and done the car is still in one piece and that's huge compared to the last race

Thankfully we have Thermo foam walls at Lancaster Motorplex and awesome safety crew who were there instantly and I have a very well built Monroe Extinguisher Co., Inc. street stock to keep me safe
My amazing Wife for keeping it together and making sure everything was as good as it could be and my crew for getting it stripped and into the trailer with the help of Dave Evans
Thanks to all my family and friends as well as my fellow competitors checking on me and offering parts and help.. I truly appreciate it
We'll get to work and be back as soon as we possibly can.

Welp a long nite for my team
Started the day off with brake issues . Got them fixed
Then an oil issue (self inflicted by me...) then fixed that only to have the car randomly shut off in the heat race not quite sure why it did that..so we went through everything changed some parts and crossed our fingers we fixed it for the feature.
Starting second last and kinda unsure what we had we tiptoed the first few laps and when it stayed running we went to work.. making our way through 13 cars to finish 7th wasn't a bad result
Feel like we could have done better without a p**s poor decision to shorten the feature of one of wny most exciting divisions but what do I know
Thanks to all my crew who dealt with a frustrated driver all day and my sponsors for all the support
We'll keep digging our way through the season and try and park this think in victory Lane again!!

Tonight at Lancaster Motorplex we showed up with our Monroe Extinguisher Co., Inc. street stock a bit under the weather but we adjusted into it all day and after starting 7th in the heat and finishing 3rd...we made a few adjustments for the feature. Starting 10th in a 22 car field we slowly went to work making our way to the front
When the checkered flags flew we brought it home in 3rd place.. strong run for us after last Saturday's misfortune. Thanks to my amazing crew for everything they do and some of the best sponsors in the game!! Without you none of this is possible!!!
