We've got an exciting announcement to share! While we have briefly mentioned our new rigs up-and-running, we feel the need to dedicate them their own post. Within the last month, we have officially got our new well drilling rig & our new water truck up and running! Loaded and rolling down the road, and this is the first hole they've punched as a pair! Shoutout to Peterbilt for working with us to get these trucks delivered as fast as they could!

It’s Monday, and for this customer, that means a fully completed system! After our drilling crew punched yet another hole last week, our service & install crew showed up today and knocked 👊🏼 out the full install! Ever wonder what it would look like if your pitless adapter broke and your pump dropped? Here's a fine look from a previous job!

In order to pick this well pump back up, we had to run multiple 20ft sticks of galvanized pipe with a J-hook to hook the wire and pull the pump back out! Once we reached this point and began seeing the PVC pipe that is holding the pump, we reinforced the wire in multiple spots to ensure we had a good hold on it, then proceeded to pull the pump as we typically do!

Q&A - What is a pitless adapter? A pitless adapter is a saddle type fitting that the PVC connecting to your well pump hangs from.
- How does the pitless adapter work? The pitless adapter is made up of 2 major pieces, the pitless elbow & the pitless slider. The pitless slider is held onto the inside of the well casing using a nut, washer, and rubber gasket, all on the outside. The pitless slider threads to your PVC pipe, and slides into the pitless slider, allowing your underground waterlines to connect to your downhole pipe & pump.
- How likely is it for my pitless to break off? This is a rare event that our crew sees, and when we say rare, we mean our crew has dealt with very few of these in our 20+ years of business!
