I've never thought of home building this way before tonight. With the rise of inflation many people that I do estimates for have become very price conscious. Expecting the very lowest possible price. There is always someone willing to do the work for less but beware. I have seen many short comings accompany these low bids. These short comings range from poor workmanship, cutting corners to simply collecting the down-payment only to not perform any work. The term ensh*tification became the topic of the night. This term refers to the practice of gradually removing quality from products and services for corporate gain. This term relates well to new home construction. Large home builders providing an illusion of your dream home. The home that gave you what you wanted at the cost you could afford. That cost quickly comes back to costing one so much more over a few years when systems, products and hidden issues arise and cost buyers Thousands in unexpected repairs. Custom builders charge more for a reason. Those reasons are usually to provide a quality built home, a home that after it has been built allows the custom builder to sleep well at night. You should do a Google search on this term and how it relates to new construction homes.

We have been building new homes and large remodeling projects for many years. Always doing our best on every job. We are currently working a job for the next 3 weeks or so. Our next project has been delayed due to zoning this will give us a good month or more to take on new work. If anyone needs something accomplished we would greatly appreciate the opportunity. Thanks
