Unfortunately, we lost... Chesapeake was our last event of the season, so we are out of the game for the FIRST Championship. But the past is the past!
We built the robot much faster, we competed better, and we even have a better pit from last year. Indeed, we did MUCH better than last year, and we still can improve!
Our next event is in the fall. We are going to attend the Battle of Baltimore, an off-season competition with the same frisbee shooting fun, but with a twist!
On behalf of the exec board, we would like to thank EVERYONE who has helped us! (Even if you didn't touch a single nut or bolt, you've helped us reach new heights this year!) We'd also like to thank our mentors, teachers, and parents for supporting this rather new team! Without you guys, we wouldn't exist!
We would also like to thank Team 888 (Robotiators, Glenelg High School) for bearing with us and letting us use their facilities. We hope to continue working with them in the future! (And perhaps work with other HoCo teams as well, such as our "rival" Atholton!)
Finally, we'd like to thank our sponsors for their gracious donations to the team! (Especially Sony!) Without you, our robot would be 100% cardboard (instead of 25% cardboard)!
Thanks to everyone for their support! Continue to spread the word about robotics! (And invite others to "like" this page!)
