✨ Our PTL Fabricators team had an inspiring afternoon at the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce Women in Business luncheon yesterday!

📍 We gathered at the lovely The Tanglewood House to hear from the incredible Angela Martin. Her presentation on being bold, beautiful, and balanced while diversifying your life and career was equal parts moving and energetic. Safe to say, our team walked away with fresh perspectives and a whole lot of motivation for both work and home.

💡 One theme that really hit home for us was finding the courage to embrace new growth without losing your footing.

Employee Spotlight: Meet Josh Bryant! 🎨🖌️

For today's Employee Spotlight, let's head into the paint booth to introduce Josh Bryant, a Painter & Sandblaster who has been keeping our fabrications looking sharp for the last 2 years and 4 months!
Josh is responsible for the crucial final stages of our projects, ensuring everything that leaves our shop is fully protected and expertly finished.

A Day in the Life:

"I'm a painter. We load the items inside the paint booth to get painted, then unload them when they dry."

The Shop Essentials:

The tools Josh absolutely cannot live without are his paint pump and spray gun.

Safety First:

In a high-impact role like painting and sandblasting, safety is everything. For Josh, his daily routine revolves around "our blasting suit and paint respirators. They keep us protected at all times."

Words to His Younger Self:

Looking back at his very first day at PTL, Josh would tell himself: "This is an amazing company to work for. You made the correct choice."

Weekend Vibes:

If Josh has a long weekend with zero plans, you’ll most likely find him doing what we all love: sitting in front of the TV with some good food! 🍕📺

Employee Spotlight: Precision Craftsmanship with Tyler Easley! 📐🔩

Let's talk precision! Today, we're featuring Tyler Easley, a talented Machinist who has been with PTL Fabricators for a year and a half. Tyler bridges the gap between digital modeling and heavy machinery to create incredibly precise components. Here is what his craft looks like from the inside:

A Day in the Life:

"I use both manual and CNC machines such as mills and lathes to cut metal very precisely. A job typically starts with a blueprint or drawing. If I’m using a CNC machine, I make a 3D CAD model of the print. Then I use the model to make a program for the machines with CAM software. Then I select material for the job, set up, and run whatever machine I need to cut the metal."

The Shop Essential:

Given the choice, Tyler’s absolute favorite piece of equipment is the CNC mill.

Advice for Apprenticing Machinists:

"Take every opportunity you can to learn something new. Be humble and work hard."

Safety First:

Tyler emphasizes that sharp eyes are just as important as sharp tools: "Wear safety glasses in the shop at all times. Also, be aware of your surroundings, and use common sense when handling tools, machines, and materials. Safety is important to me because a simple mistake in an industrial setting like this can lead to serious injuries."

Employee Spotlight: 8 Years of Excellence with Stacey Holt! 🦺🚛

Today we are shining the spotlight on Stacey Holt, our Saw Operator, who has been a cornerstone of the PTL Fabricators team for the past 8 years! Stacey is someone who truly embodies teamwork, safety, and a passion for learning. Get to know a bit more about him:

A Day in the Life:

Stacey keeps our production moving by cutting raw materials and safely unloading incoming trucks.

Teamwork in Action:

His most memorable project involved a major logistical challenge: "Unloading a bunch of 65-foot beams off a truck. Me and my supervisor worked together safely to secure and unload the beams for a big project and get them cut."

The Shop Essential:

The forklift is his absolute go-to tool in the shop.

Advice for Newcomers:

For anyone just entering the field, Stacey advises: "To be calm and patient on learning what we do here!"
