LIFE LINE PREGNANCY AND INFANT SERVICES - RECEIVES DONATION
Clearfield, PA – Life Line Pregnancy and Infant Services located at 416 Arnold Avenue, Clearfield, recently received a $10,000 donation from Clearfield Knights of Columbus #409 to assist in the expansion of Life Line’s facility. The donation is part of the Knights of Columbus Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) initiatives to increase financial support to pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes.
About Knights of Columbus:
Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. They carry that legacy on today by bringing financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members of the community.
About Life Line:
Life Line is a pro-life, branch ministry of Anawim Ministries, formerly Young People Who Care, a private, nonprofit, Christian organization. Life Line offers free assistance to expectant women, and anyone caring for children under the age of 2. There is no age, income, gender or residential guidelines-just an expressed need for services. Their expansion will allow them to offer better services to the community including private counseling offices, a conference room with a full kitchen, handi-cap accessible bathroom, and a child play area that will allow them to host educational programs. To learn more about their services or how you can help with their expansion, please call 814-765-3225.
