Eden Green Technology
Eden Green Technology began as a dream of two South African brothers, Jaques and Eugene van Buuren, who had a heart to feed hungry children. Together, they developed a technology capable of growing fresh, nutritious produce 365 days a year regardless of weather or climate. Today, nearly 15 years later, the technology has been commercialized in the United States to provide safe produce to national and regional retail partners, many of which have been impacted by recent foodborne illness outbreaks and supply issues. Our technology allows us to grow in a safe environment away from the typical weather and pest concerns associated with open land farming.
Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the quality, source and safety associated with the foods they’re consuming. Concerns over climate change have also led to a heightened focus on sustainability and preservation of natural resources.
