A leak was reported. Connect1 told us everything we needed to know.

A dealer reached out about a hydraulic hammer in their rental fleet that had developed a leak. The hammer had been in the fleet for 4-5 months, so naturally the first question was: How much has it been used?

Instead of spending days making phone calls, checking paperwork, and piecing together rental records, we opened Connect1 Telematics.

The answer was immediate: just 6 operating hours.

That insight changed the conversation instantly. We knew the issue wasn't the result of heavy use, and we were able to fast-track the response and get a technician onsite that same week.

Connect1 isn't just a tracking tool. It's a service tool.

✅ Verify actual equipment usage in seconds
✅ Eliminate guesswork and back-and-forth calls
✅ Speed up service decisions
✅ Get customers back to work faster

When issues arise, having access to real-world operating data helps dealers, rental houses, and contractors make faster, more informed decisions, reducing downtime and getting the right support in place sooner.

The hammer wasn't the problem. Operator habits were.👷‍♂️

A customer brought in a relatively new hydraulic hammer for a rebuild far earlier than expected. The initial question was simple: What happened?

Instead of guessing, we pulled the data from Connect1 Telematics.

What we found told the story. On multiple days, the hammer had been operated continuously for 15-20 minutes at a time without interruption. Anyone familiar with hydraulic hammers knows that's not how they're designed to be used.

The telematics data turned a difficult conversation into a productive one.

✅ Identified the root cause
✅ Provided clear, objective operating data
✅ Helped the customer improve operator practices
✅ Eliminated guesswork around repair costs

Connect1 isn't just about tracking equipment. It's about understanding how machines are being used, protecting your investment, and helping operators get the most out of their equipment.

When questions come up, the Connect1 has the answers.

Ever lost an attachment in your own yard? It happens more often than you'd think.

From a rental house in Austin, a manager called looking for a skid steer hammer that seemed to have vanished. One quick check in Connect1 Telematics and we were able to tell them exactly which corner of the yard it was sitting in!🧐

Sounds hard to believe, but in a busy equipment yard, smaller attachments can easily get tucked behind machines, stacked in the wrong spot, or simply disappear from view.

That's where telematics earns its keep. It's not just about tracking hours and maintenance. It's about knowing where your equipment is when you need it, reducing downtime, and keeping crews productive.

Glad to see off this shipment of breakers and spare parts. This one is extra important⛑️: it's going to support earthquake cleanup in Venezuela, which saw devastating quakes back in June.
