We as a HANKS family want the community to know that even though Hanks Electric is not on Montrose any more that WE as a Hanks family will still keep providing appliance parts and service to our community Appliance Parts of Clermont , GotYour6Services LLC and Carolina Masonry LLC . With out you all we would not have been able to be here for the past 66 years. There is no way we could ever give up on you all. Please like and follow all of our businesses. Thank you for all the support and love from the community for this past year as we have definitely needed it.

It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of Hanks Electric. It has been our pleasure to stand with our dad and help him continue on the business that his dad started and to serve the community for so many years. Our dad loved serving his community and he put his blood, sweat and tears into this company. I don't think for him it was ever an actual "job" but more so something he got to do on a daily basis. Unfortunately, after losing both of our parents within a 9 month span it just isn't feasible for us to continue on anymore. We would like to thank all of our loyal and valued customers for your business over the past 66 years. Thank you for standing with us during these trying and difficult times, we will be forever grateful for all the support and love that has been shown to us.

~Visitation at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola Ave., Clermont, on Wednesday, March 24 from 5 pm
7 pm.

~Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 25 at 4pm at the First Baptist Church of Groveland, 137 E. Cherry St., Groveland.~

We will be having Mom's last ride down Montrose St like we did with Dad, before we head to the cemetery. If you would like to, please line the 700-800 block of Montrose around 5:30ish to wave goodbye as we pass, we will come from Hwy 50 to 8th St, drive down Montrose to 7th St and drive back out to Hwy 50. and then head to the cemetery for graveside services.
