This month our team celebrated the three year anniversary of employees Andrew Lynagh, Marguerite Belt, and Eric Evangelista at Red's Steakhouse. They were joined by President-Scott Fox, and Chief Financial Officer-Austin Merk, along with their spouses. This anniversary marks when employees become fully vested into our ESOP! They are now officially considered owners of Universal Oil. Congratulations!

🔵Introducing Universal Oil's newest hire, Mark Klingler. 🔵Mark accepted the position of Maintenance Supervisor at the end of 2022. He joins our team with over 24 years of experience. Mark will be responsible for all service field work including tank installation, filter changes, equipment support, trouble shooting and emergency response. Please say hello to Mark when you see him in the field and join us in welcoming him!

In 2023 we continue to conduct quarterly safety meetings with our operational team, including drivers. As seen in the picture, these activities include spill prevention!
🔵UO welcomes in third party evaluators that scorecard our facility and performance measurements yearly.
🔵Outside experts often see things that we do not, or share recommendations for actions that other companies take, that UO can learn from.
🔵Our team takes safety and preventative training very seriously. All of our drivers are required to be tested on all standard operating procedures when they first join the company and annually thereafter.
🔵We do this to ensure we are providing our customers the best possible and safest service.

We have been lucky so far this winter with mild weather here in Cleveland; however, we know frigid temperatures are coming! 🔵Please prepare your DEF for the cold! 🔵Keep your DEF out of the elements. Frozen lines can lead to poor performance in cold climate conditions.❄️ The freeze point for DEF is 12 degrees. Keep DEF at a constant temperature all year round!

DID YOU KNOW? The filters on all Universal Oil fuel tanks are recommended to be changed 1-2 times per year based on the amount of gallons that are pumped through them .
GREAT NEWS!💥 We are currently in the process of creating and automating filter changes through our new ERP system, which will allow us to track this process for our customers!

💥CROCKPOT CONTEST ALERT!💥 Our employees competed in a cooking challenge-one rule only: must be entirely cooked in the crockpot-in honor of celebrating month. Congratulations to Denisha & Tracie! Denisha won 1st place & the Le Creuset Dutch Oven with her delicious Caramel Apple Pie. Tracie won 2nd place & a $50 gift card with her Mississippi Pot Roast. Overall, our entire team won for the day with amazing food cooked by all participants, and continued fun outside with our month long co****le challenge.
