This week, Euclid Chemical had the unique opportunity to watch the historic Big Boy No. 4014 steam locomotive pass by our Cleveland, Ohio manufacturing facility. As one of the largest steam locomotives ever built, Big Boy 4014 continues to captivate communities across the country. We were excited to witness this remarkable piece of engineering as it made its way through Northeast Ohio.

Euclid Chemical was honored to support the Bradley University Concrete Canoe Team this season by donating BrownTone™ CS 350 and Fiberstrand® microfibers. The team brought their canoe to competition with a creative Christmas‑themed design, using BrownTone CS to color the trunk of their “tree”, and the results looked great on the water! We were especially excited to hear that Fiberstrand microfibers helped significantly reduce cracking during curing, contributing to improved performance this year.

Congratulations to the Bradley U team, and everyone involved on a strong showing at competition. We’re proud to support award‑winning student teams competing in American Society of Civil Engineers Concrete Canoe and to play a small role in hands‑on engineering education.

Our Euclid Chemical team recently spent the day with IMI and Kuert Concrete at IMI’s Fort Wayne, Indiana QC lab for in‑depth technical training and dynamic, hands‑on product demos. With experience ranging from industry veterans to new team members, the engagement and enthusiasm throughout the session were outstanding. Huge thanks to Tony Candiloro, Phil Bailey, Doug Acker, Jason Jimenez, and Nick McEvoy for leading the training, and to everyone who brought such great energy and participation.
