DESCRIPTION
Exceptional opportunity for qualified welders/fitters. Put your skills to work on exciting projects in the bridge construction, aerospace and decorative arts fields. All work is performed in our facility in Cleveland (no site work involved!).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of welding techniques in the following areas: oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG and TIG and other types of weld based on project needs.
Knowledge regarding proper fillers for weld jobs.
Highly skilled in the use of MIG, FCAW & TIG welding processes on a variety of Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Aluminum components and is able to pass certification tests to ASME and AWS codes.
Possess a working knowledge of all applicable manufacturers and industry standards (CMAA, HMI, ANSI, and OSHA).
Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills.
Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office).

AMECO USA is looking for Press Brake Operators with experience on large heavy duty Press Brakes, such as 500T to 1000T. Daily work duties for press brake operators vary based on the manufacturing projects they work on and the various metals they use to make items. AMECO USA is a custom metal fabricator working with all types of metals and thicknesses ranging from 1/4" to 2". Put your skills to work on interesting projects in the bridge construction, aerospace and decorative architecture fields.

Following AMECO USA's exceptional performance in producing three Santiago Calatrava art sculptures for NYC, AMECO USA was again called upon to build a larger and more complex piece to be installed at River Point Plaza in Chicago, IL.

Standing at over 30 feet tall, this Santiago Calatrava designed piece will become a landmark on the banks of the Chicago River. When erected in 2020, this striking contemporary piece will become a notable addition to the city of Chicago’s extensive public art projects.

Constructed from over 200 individual pieces of precision-cut aluminum plate, the piece will be test-assembled at our facility then disassembled into 33 separate sections for shipping.
