True Story – When “Cheap” Turns Expensive…⚠️
We wanted to share something that recently happened with us, and honestly, it’s something we see more often than people think.
A client reached out to us through a referral (we had done work for someone they knew). They were looking for a full home renovation.
We visited, reviewed everything, and gave them a fair, realistic price, nothing inflated, just aligned with the quality, licensing, insurance, and standards we operate with.
They felt the price was high… and decided to go with someone much cheaper.
Fast forward a short time later, we heard back through the same referral…
The work wasn’t done right.
The quality was far below expectations.
And worse, the crew wasn’t licensed, not insured… and one of the workers got injured on site.
Now the homeowner is dealing with a situation that could involve liability, claims, and a lot of stress, all over trying to save money upfront.
Bottom line:
Not every low price is a good deal.
Sometimes, it’s just a hidden problem waiting to happen.
Before hiring anyone, take a moment to:
Check if they’re licensed, Make sure they’re insured, Look at their previous work, Read reviews, and Ask the right questions
