Turns out the fix wasn’t turning it off and back on again.

So we replaced the entire network and camera infrastructure with something that actually keeps up.
(Plus some TV and audio upgrades while we were at it.)

One of the most common things we hear: “The Wi-Fi is down.”
What’s usually happening is the internet connection is down, not the Wi-Fi itself.

Wi-Fi is just how your devices talk to your network. Internet is how your network talks to the world. You can have perfect Wi-Fi and still not reach anything online.

Extenders don’t create better Wi-Fi — they repeat whatever signal they can grab.

If the signal is weak where the extender sits, it will happily repeat that weakness further away.
