We’re working on an engine build that will utilize a set of ProMaxx Performance Products, SBF Project X heads. This engine will live at higher RPM for extended periods of time, so we wanted to focus on valve train stability. A set of shaft rockers were the best option but there were no known options specifically for these cylinder heads. After a few emails with Scorpion Racing Products they offered some options for us to try and we found a great fit. Scorpion has always been a great resource for tech support and their customer service is amazing.

We’ve got a new Blue Print Big Block Chevy in for machine work. This particular block has billet main caps. It’ll end up as 566 cubic inches after boring and honing and we’ll touch up the decks to correct the surface finish for MLS head gaskets.

Honda K24 main and rod bearing clearance checks. This is a soon to be assembled K24 short block that has Molnar Technologies connecting rods, Manley Performance Products, pistons, and ACL Race Series bearings.

Gen3 Hemi short block complete. This started as a bare 6.4 block and was align honed with Optitorque main studs. The decks were then squared, and cylinders bored and honed to a final size of 4.125”. The rotating assembly consists of a 4.050” stroke Molnar Technologies crankshaft and connecting rods, and D.S.S. Racing Pistons. Coated rod and mains were from King Racing. All of this makes 433 cubic inches.

Updated set of iron GT40 SBF heads for a customers Fox Body road race project. The rules require the use of factory cast iron cylinder heads, so we decided to improve these a bit with an updated valve job, minor bowl blending, back cutting the intake valves, milling to reduce chamber volume and increase compression, and the addition of a Trick Flow valve spring kit.
