Minnesota friends. Hugo Feed Mill, just off Hwy 61 in Hugo MN, will be hosting their annual tomato and pepper tasting on Saturday, September 14, 9am-1pm.

Because of our late growing season this year our Tomato and Pepper Tasting will be held on the same day.

I am sorry to announce I didn't start any seedlings this spring. I have been working nights at 60+ hours a week since the first part of December. I just started working days this past week. 60 hours a week still, at least for now. I just didn't have any extra free time to work on the seedlings. Any free time I have has been devoted to Emma, Elizabeth, and Ellie. Norsejenta Seedlings will be back next year. I am missing my seedlings already. I know as the gardening season progresses I will be regretting my decision not to start my own tomatoes and peppers. As the saying goes you have to make hay when the sun shines, so I have to work when I can. I am sorry.

Ordered more tomato and pepper seeds yesterday and today. I have to early before there are more out of stock varieties. So if you have any requests for tomato or pepper seedlings I need to know now. I know I am nagging but we need to plan ahead. Some varieties are already out of stock at the companies I order from. When I have time I will post a list of seeds I have ordered.

Found some tomato tasting results from earlier this year. Some of our favorites are on it. Sungold came in second. I will check out Purple Haze. Carbon is one I have wanted to try for a few years now.
