Maybe you knew, or maybe you’ve wondered.🤔

This new structure going up just west of PRMC’s OB/GYN Clinic on West 21st Street is Horizon Behavioral Health Center.

Once complete, Horizon will serve the region as a Crisis Triage Center providing comprehensive assessments, crisis stabilization, withdrawal management, and other behavioral health services.

The project is a years-long partnership among Clovis, Portales, Fort Sumner, the counties of Curry, Roosevelt, De Baca, Quay, and Union, and the 9th Judicial District. Further, the project would not be possible without support from the Governor and Legislature.

For more information, visit the website I’ll leave in the comments.

Thanks for your support, and as the project nears completion, watch for an announcement of its grand opening.

🏙️ Growing Fast vs. Growing Well

There’s a difference between a community growing fast and a community growing well.

Growing fast can mean more businesses, more development and more people. But growing well means making sure the pieces are in place to support that growth—workforce, infrastructure, housing, utilities and opportunities for the people who already call our community home.

Economic development isn’t just about bringing in the next big project. It’s about creating growth that makes sense, lasts and strengthens our community for the future.

For Clovis, the goal isn’t simply to grow—it’s to grow well. 🌱
