Where we're AT: Almonds in Kerman, California

16-month-old almonds in Kerman, California under a full Agri Technovation program since planting.

The focus from the beginning has been to support early tree development through a wellmanaged production system. The result has been significant vegetative growth, largerthan-normal trunk development, and strong lateral branching at this stage of establishment.

The program has included:

• Juvenile foliar applications

Early establishment sets the foundation for long-term performance.

California cherries under pressure

Late-season rain across California has created difficult conditions for cherry growers this season, with split and cracking damage ranging anywhere from 20–90% in some orchards.

In this block, a strong foliar program and consistent management through the season helped establish a heavy crop load with very good fruit sizing before the rain arrived.

While damage is still present, the orchard is expected to average 9–9.5 row fruit and is likely to pack the largest crop this block has produced to date.

In a season where some growers are walking away from affected blocks, planning and consistent ex*****on have made the difference here.

This orchard has been on a full Agri Technovation program from the start of the season, with a structured approach across both foliar and irrigation applications.

Products including Unlock, Power P, Root Assist Zinc, Majestic, Grow Almonds, Zinc to Perform, and Manganese to Perform have been used to support crop set and early development.

The orchard is responding well, with strong set and good early nut development.

The focus now shifts to irrigation and potassium management to carry this through and support nut fill and final quality.

A good start, now it’s about maintaining momentum through the season.

As an indication of active growth, red leaves in pistachios are a good sign.

In this young bearing orchard, the focus remains on structural development, building both root mass and shoot growth to set the foundation for future production.

The next step is fertigation with Power P and Unlock LPH to support continued development.

New programme underway in Tranquillity, California.

This pistachio orchard has recently come on board, starting with a full diagnostic approach—including ITEST™ Soil, ITEST™ Tissue, soil classification, and carbohydrate sampling.

Based on this, a structured programme has been implemented with Leach, Power Phos, Unlock, and K-Booster through fertigation, supported by Grow Nuts and Eckloforce in the foliar programme.

An early and intense flowering season in California

This season has seen flowering arrive earlier and with greater intensity than typically observed, across multiple crops and regions in California.

While this presents strong yield potential, it also places increased pressure on management practices to ensure effective fruit set, retention, and final quality.

The current focus is on supporting optimal cell division and early fruit development with foliar application of Eckloforce™, Calcibrate™ and FloraMagna™. It is also critical to ensure a healthy root systems with our Unlock™ technology, to ensure efficient nutrient uptake.

In seasons like this, the opportunity is clear—but so is the need for precise, well-timed interventions to convert flowering into high-quality yield.
