Team, I’m heartbroken to share the sad news that Randy Kaufman has passed away unexpectedly. Randy was a friend to all of us and a valued member of the AA TECH family for so many years. He will certainly be missed. On behalf of all of us, the company will be sending a floral arrangement to Randy‘s family. In addition if anyone is interested in contributing to a gift that will be presented to his wife Bonnie, please contact Jeff Melzack or Julia Graf. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 7 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Bartolomeo & Perotto funeral home on Vintage Lane in Greece.

I am so very thankful of the generous people in our community. I really appreciate those who donate and support the animals at Cracker Box Palace at Historic Alasa Farm in so many ways. We are so excited to host the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Farm this Saturday, April 4th. It will begin promptly at noon, so don’t be late. Lane Reduction on Route 414 Bridge Over Railroad Tracks in Clyde, Wayne County

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that a portion of State Route 414 (also known as Main Street) in the vicinity of the CSX Railroad tracks in the Village of Clyde, Wayne County, will be reduced to a single lane with alternating flows of traffic controlled by temporary signals beginning Monday, February 2. The lane reduction is necessary to facilitate repairs to the bridge that carries the roadway over the railroad tracks and the Erie Canal and will be in place until further notice.

Motorists should anticipate travel delays during this time and are advised to seek alternate routes if necessary. Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.

Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
