Major components of our proprietary engineered frame & panel building system of our ChesLight are the eight primary joists which connect the inner and outer posts . The sockets machined in the ends of each beam allow for interlocking of the components. No nails, screws, or metal bolts are used - only solid wood and adhesive. This picture was taken in 2012.

Stepping thru the front door of our ChesLight, you are greeted by the timber frame components of her building system. These timbers are lighter & stronger than sawn timbers and will not crack or warp. The proprietary method for their construction was developed by Rick Andrews (owner of Bayside Joinery Co.) in 2001.

An upcoming project for Bayside Joinery Co. is this elevated three story square version of our ChesLight. Based on our exclusive Integrated Frame & Panel building system, this home will feature exposed posts & beams on the interior and fiberglass protection on the exterior.
