The market for advanced thermally broken assemblies has grown significantly over the past decade, and with it requirements for ever more efficient systems. While APEL has already been delivering these assemblies for 8 years, we are pleased to announce the purchase of an Aluroroller EVO from Aluro. This Aluroroller is a state-of-the-art, highly automated system capable of knurling, inserting and crimping these assemblies with multiple extrusion and strut shapes to create products meeting this growing demand.
Our model has, among other features:
· 8 crimping discs with 4 knurling wheels, capable of assembling multiple different strut profiles in separate extrusions with unique geometries
· Clamp support throughout the full extrusion length of assemblies to negate any linear deformation and provide uniform shear strength throughout the assembly
· Set up times of less than 5 minutes, capable of efficiently producing both small and large batch assembly orders

APEL expects to take possession of this equipment December 1st 2023, and will install it at our new facility in Phoenix, Arizona, for production starting January 1st.
