We wrapped up the biggest job of the year so far- an 18,000 sq ft metalizing job on 15 steel girders that are heading to Alaska. We blasted all the surfaces to an SSPC-SP5 surface, then applied 10 mils of pure zinc with our arc spray metalizing machine. It took us about 4 weeks to complete this project from start to finish.

We finished applying 10 mils of TH700 zinc to these bridge beams today using our Precision Arc 4.8 metalizing machine. We did 8 girders on this project and the beams were 89’ long. They are headed to get installed in Alaska next!

Here’s a fun little winter project we did. We bought this older Vecloader 522 vacuum trailer and redid the whole thing. It only had 656 hours on it. It got new paint, new hydraulic lines and pump, new vacuum gauges, new wiring and lights etc. It’s ready to go to work just in time for the spring!
