Jerry Kaleto, Inez Kaleto's husband, a huge part of Robinson Industries since the early 1950s, beloved to our entire family, passed away earlier this week. He will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication to family and community and his church. He was a devout Christian. He often led the music portion of services and had one of the most beautiful singing voices you will ever hear. He taught all of us how to be better people. For many of you who worked with him, you probably remember his easy smile, his wealth of knowledge about the business and his excellent customer service. He was the Sales Manager at Robinson Industries for most of his adult life. People loved working with him and he loved his job. He taught the younger people in his family and at work how to never give up until things were right, how to stay calm and focused on results. We will all miss him so much. He's one of those people who you can honestly say, everyone who knew him liked him. Rest In Peace Uncle Jerry.

Robinson Industries will be closed for the day shift on Thursday of this week. This will be paid time off so that we can all attend the funeral if we choose. If you have questions about this please contact your supervisor or Joel Evans HR.

Thank you all for your kindness and support.

Two years ago today, things were going well at Robinson Industries. We were coming out of the Covid era, there were some supply chain issues but overall business was on the upswing and life was good.

Then the unimaginable happened.

As most of you know, a fire devastated our factory and offices in the early morning hours of March 31, 2022.

Things seemed very bleak at the time but our leadership was strong and immediately plans were being made for how to continue to get parts to our suppliers, how to help employees who were suddenly out of work and how to start the incredibly difficult work of rebuilding.

We have said this so many times that it probably sounds redundant but it truly was awe inspiring to see how our employees, our managers, our suppliers and competitors and our community came together to make this happen.

Sometimes your greatest blessings in life come out of adversity.
We have learned so much about what it means to support each other, what community means and how deep down good people really are. We are stronger as a company and as people because of this experience.

It has been two long but exciting years and we are at the point where the new building is done, machines are in place and some will start running this week. We are almost there and we're looking forward to having a ribbon cutting celebration in the Spring. We hope to see many of you at this event.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone involved for standing with us and giving this team effort more than anyone could expect. Our managers and staff, Steelworkers Local 15100, and everyone involved should take pride in what has been accomplished! If we had a crystal ball we would have been astonished at how well the rebuild has gone thanks to all of you.

If you have any pictures of the rebuild in progress or the fire or any other pictures you think would be interesting to others please post those in the comments.

Our company Christmas celebration was extra special this year because were able to be in our brand new building for the party on all three shifts at the Curtis Road plant. This year was a long awaited and very welcome pause to celebrate the holiday and all of the hard work that got us to this point. Special thanks to the Robinson Industries employees, FED--amazing builders, the local fire departments and our whole community for giving 100% every day for the last 21 months. You are all amazing and so appreciated. The Robinson family wishes you a Christmas full of love and peace, rest and laughter.
