Tip to Avoid Scams: Protect your accounts by enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA) wherever possible. MFA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a second step—like a code sent to your phone or an authentication app—beyond just your password. Even if a scammer steals your login information through phishing or data breaches, MFA can stop them from accessing your account.
At CCEC, your security matters. Take a few minutes today to enable MFA and keep your information safe.

As temperatures rise, so does the demand for electricity. During summer months, energy use typically peaks in the late afternoon and early evening when air conditioners are working hardest. By shifting energy-intensive activities like laundry and cooking to times when demand is lower, you can help reduce strain on the grid—and potentially lower your bill. Together, we can keep power reliable for our entire community.

Today, we recognize REA Day by honoring the moment rural America gained access to reliable electricity.
Inspired by the vision of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Rural Electrification Administration, electric cooperatives helped bring power to places once left in the dark. That spirit of service still powers our work today.

We are aware of a widespread outage affecting all of our members feeding out of our Novice, Talpa, and Gouldbusk substations due to an issue with the transmission line. We have no estimate of restoration for those affected at this time.
