Turbind TurBinD is using small scale wind turbines to tackle a larger issue. TurBinD is a social venture that creates small scale vertical axis wind turbines.

The American mindset has become more open to sustainable energies but the view of wind energy is still a narrowly focused on the large wind farms. These wind turbines store wind energy and act as cell phone charging stations. The goal is through an interesting and ascetically pleasing design we can change the negative perceptions of wind energy through an educational website and positive interactions with wind energy.
