Today was EPIC!! Huge thank you to and the crew for making such a fantastic event. Saw tons of cars, talked to some awesome people at the tent, and got to see take Ruby down the track from the line🏎️💨

We may be biased, but we think ’s Electric Monkey looks good on the raceway, and makes the perfect pit bike too!

Team member built us a sick little 20hp pitbike that we’ve dubbed the “Electric Monkey”. It has around 45 miles of range and is a dead silent assassin with well over double the wheel torque of a Honda Grom. Turned up, this thing is rowdy!

Wednesday: fairings on. Through tech. First attempt went over 190 through the mile with our data showing NEW FASTEST PEAK SPEED of 194.6!!! Despite no wind on the down run, we were met with a headwind on the return run and clocked 186. Not enough to break our 2024 AMA record- by about 1 mph.

We’re here to push the limit. So, we increased amps from 1000 to 1100, and…. blew our second, and last, motor. Another sacrifice to the god of speed.

Unfortunately, the weather was just not our friend this year. But this was still an incredible opportunity to partner with our main sponsors- Italmatch Chemicals, Valvoline, and Curtis Instruments- out on the salt. We learned a lot and will unpack more details in the next few days. As always, thank you everyone for your support!

Tuesday: data from our day 1 run showed a possible motor issue. We spent Monday evening fitting our spare to be ready to rock today. Got to the salt this morning, made a warm up run at 162 unfaired. After lots of hurry up and wait, track delays, wind— the course closed just before we could make our next run. Mother Nature wins again.

Tomorrow morning’s forecast is looking good. Since the clock is ticking quickly toward the end of the week, our current plan is to run faired and send it! Racing closes midday Thursday. Wish us luck!

Monday: yesterday’s perfect little 5pm rain shower was unfortunately followed by heavy rain overnight, forcing closure of the course today. Such a bummer!! So, we are using today to make improvements, reorganize, and recharge in hopes of hitting the salt first thing tomorrow morning☀️

Sunday: Well, we intended to run at track open, but weather pushed the start. We made the most of the delay by refining our drive system and data logging parameters. When we did run, we discovered an unfortunately bumpy track that shook our LV system fuse loose and ended the run early.

We’re replacing the fuse holder and are prepping for a comeback tomorrow morning! As we were leaving, a nice little storm rolled in and wet the salt, and hopefully gifted us a smoother track!🤞

Saturday update! It’s been a long day getting prepared for a first day of racing: Paddock setup ✔️ Unfaired tech inspection ✔️ Also, Curtis Instruments was kind enough to join us on the salt to analyze their inverter’s performance on our bike. The salt awaits tomorrow! 🏍️💨

We also work on gas bikes! Had the opportunity to help our pit neighbors, 4L Racing, with a quick weld on their turboed KZ125. Can’t wait to see him run tomorrow!
