It's exciting to see Colton Village Center taking shape from the ground up.

DUDLEY provided structural engineering for the development's collection of community and recreational facilities, including the event and lounge building, gym, HOA building, park pavilion and park restroom, along with several supporting site and landscape structures.

Projects like this are a great example of how thoughtful structural design supports the spaces that ultimately bring a community together. We're proud to be part of the team bringing this vision to life in Todd Mission, Texas.

As Carson presented his end-of-summer presentation, one phrase stood out to us:

"The ability to figure it out."

That mindset was evident all summer long. Carson embraced new challenges, asked thoughtful questions, sought out opportunities to learn, and consistently took ownership of his work. Watching his confidence and technical abilities grow over the course of the internship was rewarding for our entire team.

Engineering isn't about having every answer on day one. It's about asking good questions, researching, learning from others, and working through problems until they make sense.

At DUDLEY, that's exactly what we want our interns to experience—real projects, real responsibility, and the opportunity to grow by solving real-world challenges.
