On this day 25 years ago, America was attacked on our own soil. Thousands of innocent lives were lost, including 343 courageous firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while trying to save others.
In the difficult days that followed, our nation came together. We didn’t see color, political party, or differences; we saw one another as Americans. Flags flew proudly, strangers helped strangers, and churches were filled with people praying for our country.
May we never forget those we lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the unity that brought us together afterward. God bless their families, our first responders, and the United States of America.

It’s Hotter Than Georgia Asphalt!
This time of the year, you can't buy a cool breeze down South. You get use to the weather forecast: hot, hotter, and really. It's hot when you step out of your house at 6 am and then it really gets to heating up about 10 am and it is on from there, so we thought it would be nice to try and cool off just a bit with snow cones. As you can see, we did not have any trouble finding willing people to test our theory. While it did not cause the wind to blow any cooler, it did give us a break and a chance to hope that cooler days are just around the corner.
