Please join us in congratulating Project Coordinator Adam Garland on 25 years with Thriven Design!

Adam started at Thriven Design, then Kitchen and Associates, soon after his graduation from Virginia Tech. He brought an eagerness to learn and can-do approach to his architectural work. His fresh perspective and ease in making connections with co-workers, consultants and clients made him a rising member of the architecture studio. In Adam’s tenure with the firm, he married, bought his first home and raised a family all while growing his career, deepening his technical know-how and his connections to our clients and the communities we serve.

“Adam made an impression on firm leadership fairly early on, and, coupled with his willingness to travel to the southeast United States, has contributed to the firm's growth and recognition for affordable housing in that region,” said Thriven Design Principal Chris Panella, Assoc. AIA. “I have deep respect for Adam’s thoughtfulness towards other people and his ability to negotiate reasonable solutions to whatever challenge he faces. Congratulations on this milestone anniversary!"

🎉Cheers, Pennrose, on the grand opening of Good Shepherd Senior Residences! Thriven Design was happy to attend Monday’s celebration and to have provided architecture and MEP engineering services for this important project. Good Shepherd Senior Residences provides 55 apartments for adults 62+, enabling older Philadelphians to age in place affordably in their community of choice. Congratulations to the entire Good Shepherd Senior Residences project team!
