Downhole Well bore bacteria:
AquaLuxus WC has proven highly successful in the mitigation of downhole well bore bacteria that cause the efficacy of well performance and production to diminish. Bacteria such as: Iron bacteria, Managenese bacteria, Sulfate Reducing Bacteria, Slime Reducing Bacteria and Pseudomonades. These bacteria are naturally occurring in water wells and diminish the production and efficacy of water wells. AquaLuxus WC has shown to significantly reduce these bacteria.
AquaLuxus WC is NOT a biocide. Biocides work on the premise of poisoning bacteria. AquaLuxus WC does NOT poison the bacteria, it coats them with a silica barrier which inhibits their ability to eat, defecate and see their food source, and thus they die off.
Pathogens:
AquaLuxus WC has proven to be highly effective in the elimination of pathogens such as: E-coli, salmonella, Legionnaires, Listeria, etc. AquaLuxus WC has a very high pH but is highly buffered and safe to handle. Pathogens thrive in a specific pH range. As AquaLuxus WC in concentrate and diluted solution significantly exceeds the survivable pH range of pathogens they do not thrive and die off.
Heavy Metal Containments:
The chemistries of AquaLuxus WC are unique as they are highly negatively charged. This negative charged characteristic creates an affinity for positively charges materials such as metals and minerals. Any of the transitional metals such as: arsenic, barium, cadmium, lead, mercury, etc. are effected by AquaLuxus WC. The AquaLuxus WC will bond to transitional metals thus encapsulating them. The metals are still present but are NO longer water soluble. Since they are now a bigger and heavier molecule they are significantly easier to filter from the water stream.
Odor Elimination & H2S Mitigation:
AquaLuxus™ WC serves as an excellent hydrogen sulfide eliminator removing the unpleasant odor caused by high levels of sulfur compounds found in some wells.
Corrosion Inhibitor:
Treatment with AquaLuxus™ WC down hole coats the metal and mineral surfaces with a molecular barrier protecting metal surfaces by reducing corrosion and increasing the conductivity of formation surfaces.
Drilling Mud Mobilization:
AquaLuxus WC has shown significant improvement in the mobilization of drilling muds. If well are not properly developed the use of AquaLuxus WC assists in removal of excess drilling muds that could possibly choke off the well.
