What do your school buildings need, how will you fund the work, and who should be at the table?

Those questions shaped the Future Facilities Forum, where we joined Colorado Rural Schools Alliance and Treanor to bring school leaders and facilities professionals together during the Rural Means Opportunity conference.

The afternoon covered maintaining existing buildings, planning improvements, navigating BEST grants and bonds, and selecting a project team.

Thank you to our panelists from Colorado Department of Education, Canon City Schools Fremont RE-1, Artaic Group, Magellan Strategies and BV Schools Colorado for sharing their experience, and to the school leaders who brought thoughtful questions about their districts. We appreciated the chance to talk through the work ahead together.

Sharing ideas and experience to build better schools! Our Preconstruction Manager, Ross Dix, recently joined a panel at the Colorado Mass Timber Coalition Summit to discuss our how we're utilizing mass timber at our Cheraw PK-12 Additions and Renovation project.
