Quick brass melt after getting back from the Chile and Frijoles Festival. Just a few sand cast, hoping to round out sets from the last melt. Didn't get everything but happy enough with the end results. Still short on the ammo set, with every attempt at the 223 coming out as fails. I'll keep trying but glad got a few more shells. Enjoy the rest of the weekend all and now for some pork green chili 😋 👌

The recent melt had some successes as well as some failures. Plenty of basic rounds in addition to a reasonable success ...

The recent melt had some successes as well as some failures. Plenty of basic rounds in addition to a reasonable success rate on all the sand cast items. Got a handful of shell replica to take on the upcoming trip, and nearly one full set of ammo rounds. Sadly one out of the nine of them failed on both attempts. Time to clean them up get'm logged and engraved, and then on to another melt. Maybe not brass..... maybe.

Day off melt. Not a bad one at that with the temp how it is. Mostly shooting for the sand cast items but looking to get ...
